Rod Thomson is an award-winning journalist, being published in such national publications as the New York Times, People Magazine, Focus on the Family’s Citizen magazine, Newsmax magazine and many others. He has been a beat reporter, metro columnist and an investigative reporter at two daily newspapers and the Executive Editor of the Gulf Coast Business Observer in Florida.

He published Onward Christian Soldiers for seven years, profiling faithful Christians throughout history, which was the genesis for Living Threads.

He is also the author of Living Water: Hudson Taylor and the Call of Inland China, published by Christian Literature Crusade, and available at Amazon, Barns & Noble, and Christian Literature Crusade.

He and his wife, Kim, have 8 children and 3 grandchildren and live in Sarasota, Fla. They have homeschooled since the 1980s.
